Things are finally speeding up for the most anticipated Hilary movie of all time, According to Greta.

According to Greta? Yes, the movie got renamed for the USA video release, confirmed to come out on January 19th, 2010 from Starz/Anchor Bay Home Entertainment. The movie will come out both on DVD and Blu-Ray format, however, still no theatrical release has been officially announced. Although, it’s been confirmed that the movie will have a limited theatrical run before the release of the DVD — no surprise there.

On the bright side, at least we will get our very first Blu-Ray Hilary movie. (besides the boring War, Inc.)

The movie is set to come out on DVD first in Australia. The tentative release date is November 25, and no word on a rename to According to Greta. Official DVD artwork pictured above right.

Can’t wait to see it! It seems awesome! Didn’t really like the dvd cover though… And I am not sure about the new name… it doesn’t really make a difference, but it’s ok as long as we can see it soon!

First the long delay of the release , then they scrapped the theatrical release plans ,
and now they changed the name , whats next :( ?

+ and let’s face it , War, Inc was baaaaaaaaaad !!
the only thing that made me watch is because Hil was in it :(

War, Inc was actually fairly good, I thought. I liked the satire. Was it a bit inane? yeah, but wasn’t that the point?

This movie was so good – I think Hilary Duff can use it as a springboard to launch into more mature roles. She never over-acted, which I think a lot of young actors tend to do whenever they start playing more serious characters. Kudos to her. Ellen Burstyn was terrific as the grandma, too.

I also really love the song “I Wanna Die” by Jolie Holland and I was so happy to hear it during the opening credits…what a great mood-setter.

Hilary rose to fame when she starred in the smash hit Disney Channel TV Series, Lizzie McGuire in 2001. She also successfully started a music carreer which is still going strong.
