We weren’t mistaken. Hilary’s humongous diamond engagement ring was a motherload!

Apparently, says a close source from Mike’s hockey team, the 14-karat princess-cut diamond ring cost $1 million. Fiancee Mike Comrie reportedly bought the sparkler in Las Vegas just days before his Hawaiian trip with Hilary.

Not only does her ring cost a million dollars, but so is the couple’s rumored future home. The couple are close to buying a $10 million home in Beverly Hills.

Hasn’t Hilary just recently renovated her Toluca Lake-home last year? Is it a little too soon — and expensive — to be moving in together in a new home?

This also ends the questions if Hilary might move to Edmonton because of Mike’s career.

Hilary’s rep refused to talk about the matters.

Hilary and Mike’s engagement is creating one of the biggest celebrity buzz this month.

Hilary Duff Engaged: one of the most searched keywords on Yahoo! and Google for the past 3 days. Hilary even lands the homepage of a few other big websites as well as being the front page news of some local newspapers.

Today, Hilary topped the 25 Celebrity Hot List of People.com.

Now that y’all are coming back to LA, get ready for some insane paparazzi attention, Hilary and Mike.

Hilary’s ex-boyfriend, Aaron Carter, has broken his silence about Hilary’s engagement.

“Congrats on your engagement! I already let go. We all have our childhood love stories, right?” Aaron says on his Twitter page, obviously to Hilary. “[I'm] not saying I wanted to let go. I made the mistake and I learned how to be a different man. Someone else has her heart. I am happy for her!”

You might remember him writing Hilary a song titled ‘Let Go.’ It’s been 8 months since the song and 8 years since their relationship ended, but he’s now over it. We’re happy that you’re happy for them, Aaron!

Now, we need to get what other-ex-boyfriend Joel Madden has to say.

Hilary and Mike officially got engaged in Hawaii yesterday afternoon, January 18. Mike proposed to Hilary on their balcony in Hawaii and she gladly accepted.

It’s 100% true. BauerGriffinOnline.com’s photographers were able to take some exclusive candid pictures of the romantic moment. However, they were nice enough to leave them in private while the romance was starting to get more intense. Total oops! moment! The two cuddled after the proposal and bodyguard Ryan was there to take some of their own photos.

The two have been dating since 2007.

Congratulations to both of you, Hilary and Mike! All of us are very happy for you.

So, when’s the wedding?

Update: According to People.com, Hilary’s rep has confirmed this. This is not a stunt. In fact, why would they do that?

“Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were engaged this weekend while vacationing in Hawaii,” rep Nanci Ryder said Friday. “After having been together for over two years, they are very excited to share this happy news. They are thankful for all of your warm wishes.“

No, you’re not dreaming! The most anticipated Hilary Duff movie, ‘According to Greta‘ is officially coming to theaters on December 11, 2009 with a limited run and limited theaters, EW.com reports last night.

We don’t have news on theater counts,  states or play runs yet, unfortunately, but December 11 is official. We will keep you updated on the limited release of this film.

The DVD comes out in the USA a few weeks later. Precisely on January 19, 2010. The DVD Release in Australia is in 4 days, November 25. No news on Asia, Europe or South America.

Today, September 28th, 2009, our dear Hilary turns 22 years old.

Hilary and an unidentified friend enjoyed a quiet, photographer-free dinner at Sushi Samba recently this week in New York.

In New York, Hilary Duff grabbed dinner at SushiSamba Park, eating at a quiet table in the back with a friend. The starlet sipped wine with her sushi and “looked über-chic in a red strapless dress with a black scarf and killer gladiator black heels,” a source says.

It seems like whenever Hilary’s in New York, there are less photographers following her. Hilary likes it, but we don’t! We miss your beautiful face, Hilary!

May 29 - Hilary gets into a fight with the paparazzi | Download video at the Media Vault

Hilary shouts and gets mad at some X17 photographers after leaving a restaurant in LA on May 29.

“Get out of here, for real. This is my neighborhood… get out of here.” Hilary shouts at the paparazzi after being stolen a shot with boyfriend, Mike Comrie. She pulled Mike’s shirt as a cover-up, and didn’t talk as if they’ve been through an argument that night.

The photographers then defended themselves, except for this other one who made up an excuse. “My grandfather’s right there, down the street. You know Mr. Lawrence?” Hilary comes back with a hilariously-toned comment, “Go visit him.”

They added “We hate that everybody follows you and everything, but, you know us, you know our vehicle. We don’t like to follow you, we just want one picture of you and you can go on with your daily life.”

The other photographer shut up the whole time, speaking only once when he said “Have a good day. God bless you guys” when the couple arrived at Hilary’s street. Mike ended the one-minute insanity with “Get away! We’ll call the cops.”
