Hilary spills the beans on her Gossip Girl appearance on her interview with Access Hollywood.

She gave away a lot about her first episode, which she shot all-week. She talked about her character, Olivia Burke, her co-stars, how she got her role, her outfits and so much more.

Hilary is currently on hiatus with filming Gossip Girl, since she’s in Bogota as a part of Blessings in a Backpack. Hilary goes back on set next week.

On The Set: Hilary Duff Is A ‘Gossip Girl’

At the AIDS Walk charity event this week, Hilary chatted about her new ventures, including her collection with DKNY.

She admits to Nylon Online that Femme for DKNY is “kind of a selfish line, because it’s skinny jeans, which look the best on me.” She also included fun personal touches like multiple-size belt loops. “Sometimes I want to wear a skinny little belt wrapped around a million times, or sometimes I want to wear a really fat one that won’t ever stay in place, slung low. So it just has a lot of options,” she explains.

And while Hilary was sure to include her style favorites, her design wheels started spinning with inspiration from ‘normal girls.’ “I’ll be walking down the street and think, oh she looks cute!” Hilary says. “Especially being in New York because everyone has such unique styles. And it’s not people who have a ton of money or have a huge closet, but it”s people wearing what they love and having a unique way of putting it together.”

Hilary talks about looking like a ‘big, funny cupcake’ with her sister and her girlfriends when they wore under-$80 prom dresses, danced to The Cure all night and missing out on High School stuff.

Due to being homeschooled, Hilary felt like she missed out on a lot, especially going to a regular prom. So Hilary, Haylie and a bunch of girlfriends held their own Do-It-Yourself Prom Night.

“I was homeschooled, so I didn’t go to a regular prom,” she told MTV News. “But I felt like I missed out a little bit.”

To remedy the situation, Duff decided to have a DIY prom with her best friends. “My girlfriends and my sister, we threw an ’80s prom party,” she explained. “So we all went out and got, like, vintage prom dresses and they all had to be under $80 and we looked like big, funny cupcakes.”

Not only did they embrace the decade’s decadent fashion, they also cranked up some classic ’80s tunes on their boom boxes. “We just danced all night to the Cure. We had fun. We had our own prom.”

Probably a little too late to hear about, inTouch Online posted an article-interview from the Lighting Ceremony about how Hilary’s mom, Susan, approves of her boyfriend, Mike Comrie.

It also talked about motherhood and the plans they had on Mother’s Day.

It’s always important for Mom to love the boyfriend — and it looks like Hilary Duff has no problem there!

The actress, who has been dating Mike Comrie for nearly two years, had a quiet Mother’s Day last weekend with mom Susan and her hockey player main squeeze.

“We all spent the day together. We played board games, cooked crab cakes, and later we ate at a really amazing Italian restaurant in LA. It was quiet and nice!” the Material Girls starlet told In Touch at the Empire State Building lighting in honor of the AIDS Walk in New York on May 14.

On the topic of motherhood, Hilary added that she’d one day like a brood of her own.

“I want kids, but I don’t think any time soon,” she added. But it looks like boyfriend Mike is in for the long haul. “We get along so well. We have so much fun when we’re together,” the NHL star told In Touch at the charity event.

Hilary arrived at New York City with Mike yesterday to attend the Lighting Ceremony for AIDS Walk New York. The event was held at the Empire State Building yesterday, May 14.

Following the nosy paparazzi’s orders, she switched the lights on and off and posed for photographs. The event was held to officially begin the ceremony for AIDS Walk New York on May 17 in New York City, as well.

The legendary Christina Aguilera was out at Mozza on the night of mother’s day, April 10th. And apparently, Hilary, her mom and Mike was at the same block at the same time to have dinner at a restaurant.

Hilary sports an all black outfit, contradicted by a green purse which she has been using the whole week.

Aguilera, looking the other way, ignored Hilary while on her way up to her car. While Hilary, avoiding her direction, squeezed herself to avoid diva-attitude shoulder bumping. They didn’t acknowledge each other.

When the photographer told Hilary about Aguilera, she said “Yeah.”

I don’t think the close relationship between Joel-Nicole and Jordan-Christina has something to do with this, right? Joel would never talk bad about Hil. Never. </sarcasm>

Hilary was interviewed by The Women on the Web regarding her non-profit charity work and a little about her career.

At just 21, you would be surprised to see such a young lady getting involved in causes, charities and various missions. But it’s not new to Hilary. She started getting involved in causes as early as 16, with Kids with a Cause. (uh-huh, I can still remember that) And now got involved with Blessings in a Backpack with Stan Curtis. She will also take part in the AIDS Walk New York mission soon. And lastly, she is working at a program, GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network: a pro-gay program.

She also reveals that her mom is a big reason and encouragement why she decided to take part in these causes. And the shocking news that her mom has serious diabetes. (to me, at least. I didn’t know that.)

The interviewer did a horrible job, and even doubted her about the relation of diabetes and heart disease.
