Hilary’s Twitter: not happening soon

Hilary isn’t ready to fly around with the tweety birds yet!

According to Amuse, someone from Hilary’s management, from the Official Hilary Duff Fanclub, the management is still waiting for Hilary to approve of the idea and start tweeting. He implied that a Twitter account has indeed been created, but they are still waiting on Hilary.

Put it this way: if Hilary’s Twitter page were a cake, we are still on the cooling rack waiting for icing. :)

- Amuse, HilaryDuff.com forums.

So much for tweeting. Maybe when Hilary starts getting busy with significant projects, that would be the right time for Hilary to start tweeting. She should at least post on her blog.

Hilary: a no-show at a NY party for being sick.
April
2010

candids_0428_medical

Hilary left a medical building in LA yesterday afternoon with Mike. Click above to see the photos. She looked pretty sick, but still pretty. And I respect her privacy, so I didn’t upload HQ photos for these, so you won’t be studying and observing her face to see how sick she is. That’s stalker-ish.

She was scheduled to attend an event in New York in the evening, during the same day, April 28th, but since she was pretty sick, she didn’t attend.

Hilary was invited to attend an exclusive private party called LG Rumorous Night hosted by Fashionista Heidi Klum at the Andaz Hotel in Los Angeles and it will celebrate Heidi’s new designs for back plates and skins of the LG Rumor.

If Hilary attended, she would have been with Anna Faris, Christina Aguilera, David Spade, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Kennedy and Rosario Dawson, and more. All the invited celebrities showed up but Hilary.

Get well soon, though, Hilary!

Fashion icon Heidi Klum, will host stylists, fashionistas and celebrities for an exclusive party on the evening of Tuesday, April 28th. The star-studded event at the Andaz Hotel in Los Angeles will celebrate Heidi’s new designs for back plates and skins of the LG Rumor (2)

Celebrities who will be in attendance: Anna Faris, Christina Aguilera, David Spade, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Kennedy and Rosario Dawson, and more.

Hilary talks about Internet difficulties - and Twitter!
April
2010

news_042509_intdific

Hilary finds it hard to browse and use the World Wide Web! But she’ll launch a Twitter account soon!

How ironic. Is she forced to do this? haha.

Hilary confirmed she’s jumping on the bandwagon soon!

“I didn’t start Twittering yet, but my assistant set up an account for me,” she told JustJared.com.

“But I’m really slow. You should see me on the Internet. I’m really bad on the Internet. If I have to find something or look something up, Mike has to be, ‘I’ll show you!’”

No problem, Hil. I can teach you anytime. ;)

Read the whole article about the Stay Cool after party at Just Jared.

Ooh, and speaking of Twitter - we just launched one! Check it out and follow us!

First review of Hilary’s ‘Stay Cool’ performance
April
2010

news_042509_screv

A critic from DVDTalk posted this review of Hilary’s performance in her movie, Stay Cool.

Much to my shock, the one supporting performance that really sings is that of Hilary Duff, who plays a high school senior with a crush on Henry who talks him into taking her to the prom. Duff is a bubbly, zippy force of life, and the movie invariably perks up when she slinks into it. Frankly, you know your movie is in trouble when the secondary romance is more interesting than the primary one; there’s a whole other, better movie hinted at when he tells her, sadly, you haven’t even been through your Led Zeppelin phase, especially if she had a less predictable response.

Reviews about the movie itself aren’t so good. Don’t know if I’ll bother posting about negative crap.

Ghost Whisperer ‘Thrilled to Death’ Preview
March
2010

Alright, this video is not an April Fool’s joke, but AAAH! That’s me, trying to copy Hilary’s scream in the video.

It looks so good. I can’t wait. Those stunts are dangerous, especially the one on top of the building.

Don’t forget to tune in next Friday, April 10 on CBS, 8PM ET/PT.

Pictures & Info of Hilary’s ‘Law & Order: SVU’ episode
March
2010

news_losvu

These pictures are so adorable. Makes me wonder what Hilary would be like if she’s a real mother, — oops, I can’t say that. I forgot that Hilary didn’t want her own family until she’s 30 — it was actually hard choosing the pictures for that image banner because the whole picture set is filled with ~~cuteeee~~ pictures.

These pictures are from the set of her episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ today, March 23. She plays the role of a mother, and that cute little girl is her daughter, of course. We have additionals from Hilary’s arrival on the set:

March 23 - Arriving on the set of Law & Order: SVU [5 HQ]

This show is so progressive. The script was issued last week, and then Hilary started filming the episode already.

[SPOILER!] And here’s another Yonica-like role. Ugh, I hate that.

Hilary Duff plays Ashlee Walker, a rebellious, trashy, slutty, irresponsible young mother, who is suspected of murdering her baby Sierra. It’ll be great to see Duff dirty it up a bit, don’t you think?

Ooh, and something super sexual, too. Don’t read, kids.

Production insiders on the set in New York have told OK! that scenes will include Hilary grinding on some guy’s crotch in Atlantic City, while the script reveals that she will be wearing a wet T-shirt and shown drunk and partying in Cabo!

That’s insane. Hilary should be paid a lot for this. This will definitely be scandalous and all those loser celeb bloggers will jump on her for this — except for those naughty guys.

Episode airs April 28, remember that.

Hilary Duff wants to save your kidneys!
March
2010

kidneys

Hilary’s into saving organs, which is awesome in my book seeing as my mom’s had a kidney transplant before!

George Lopez would like you to get screened for kidney disease

Celebrities get hooked up with causes and charities all the time, often with a personal connection to the issue. But few perhaps are as close as George Lopez is with the National Kidney Foundation. Four years ago Lopez underwent a kidney transplant, receiving a donor kidney from his wife, Ann. That came after years, he says, of ignoring his health and not undergoing certain medical tests.

Lopez doesn’t want the same fate to befall others, so he’s encouraging people to come out for a free kidney screening, part of several events for World Kidney Day. On Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Guy’s North in Studio City, Lopez and a group of other celebs will be out to encourage people to get a quick checkup, consisting of a blood test for diabetes, blood pressure screening, and a body mass index assessment. Participants can also speak with a physician and, if a follow-up is warranted, referrals (some free) will be made. Anyone over 18 is welcome, including uninsured members of the Screen Actors Guild (for information and to make a reservation, call [800] 747-5527).

“I let 38 years go by before I got healthy,” Lopez said during an early morning phone call. “People see me being funny and energetic and I wouldn’t be anyplace if I hadn’t (paid attention) to some of the signs. You can’t heal everybody, but it’s important that people are aware of their health situation…. Sometimes people know they have a family history of diabetes, and they still don’t want to know [about their own health].”

Other famous types scheduled to be at the event include Andy Garcia, Hilary Duff, Brooke Burns, Constance Marie, Louis Gossett Jr. and Kevin Sorbo. And yes, they’ll be getting screened as well. Does Lopez think his celebrity status helps the cause? “I think it does,” he said. “My wife and I run into a lot of people who have donated their kidneys and are more aware of kidney disease because of us.”

Lopez says he considers his kidney surgery anniversary - coming up next month - like another birthday. “It’s the second stage of my life.”

This makes me really happy! Everybody should be screened, make sure your body’s healthy! :)
